Error 403: access_denied. The app has not completed the Google verification process
- Google sign-in
- OAuth
What it means
Your Google sign-in is still in Testing mode, which only lets listed test users in. Everyone else is turned away.
Why it happens
- The OAuth consent screen is set to Testing, and the user is not on the test user list.
- The app asks for sensitive scopes that need Google's review.
How to fix it
- Add test users for now, or publish the app in Google Cloud's OAuth consent screen.
- Ask only for basic scopes (email, profile) so publishing needs no review.
- Fill in the app name, logo and privacy policy link before publishing.

Google sign-in in my app fails with 'Error 403: access_denied'. Tell me which Google scopes this project requests and whether any of them need Google's verification, and list what I should check on the OAuth consent screen.
