Questions

Can I use Cursor and Claude Code together?
Yes. Claude Code runs in Cursor's terminal or as an extension, so many people use Cursor for small edits and Claude Code for larger tasks in the same project.
Which is better for beginners?
Cursor feels more familiar if you've used a code editor, because you see each file change. Claude Code asks you to describe tasks and review results, which suits people comfortable giving clear instructions.
Do they keep my project safe?
Both ask before running commands by default. Keep that on, use a rules file with your safety rules, commit before big changes, and never give either access to production data while experimenting.
