Terms of use
Last updated 3 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Witsberry Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 13858949, 128 City Rd, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, which runs LogicTrail. By using the site or buying Pro you agree to them. We've kept them as plain as we can.
What LogicTrail is
LogicTrail is an educational service: interactive scenarios, lessons and free tools that explain how apps built with AI work and break. It is general education, not professional security, legal or financial advice, and it is no substitute for a review of your own app by a qualified person.
Your account
- You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in.
- You must be at least 13, and old enough to enter a contract where you live to buy Pro.
- One person per account. Please don't share Pro access.
Pro: payment, renewal and cancellation
- Pro is a yearly subscription, paid in advance through Stripe. The price is shown before you pay, and founding members keep their price for as long as they stay subscribed.
- It renews automatically each year until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your dashboard. You keep Pro until the end of the year you paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Access starts immediately. At checkout you agree to that and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day cancellation right, so payments are not refunded. Details are in our refund policy, which doesn't affect your statutory rights.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while; if it still fails, your account returns to the free plan, keeping your progress.
Our content
The scenarios, lessons, text, diagrams and design are ours. You may use them to learn and to check your own projects, and you may copy the “ask your AI” prompts into your tools. Please don't copy, resell or republish the lessons or scenarios, or scrape the site.
Free tools
- Use the tools only on apps, websites, domains and keys that are yours or that you have permission to test.
- Don't use them to attack, overload or probe anyone else's systems. We limit how often they can run.
- Results are automated checks that can miss problems or flag harmless things. A clean result doesn't mean your app is secure.
Acceptable use
Don't break the law using LogicTrail, interfere with the site or other people's use of it, try to get around access controls or payment, or use automated means to download content. We may suspend accounts that do, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us.
Our responsibility to you
- We provide LogicTrail with reasonable care and skill, and we work to keep it available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or contain mistakes.
- We aren't responsible for losses from decisions you make about your own app, or for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee. We don't provide the service for business use, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms as the service changes; we'll update the date above and email account holders about significant changes before they apply. You can stop using LogicTrail at any time. We may end the service on reasonable notice; if we do, we will refund any unused part of a Pro year.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring claims in your local courts. Questions or complaints: hello@logictrail.app. How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.
